As the end of the local cyclocross season draws near we decided it was time to give back and support our racing heritage and support local races.  VeloConcepts is proud to announce that we are sponsoring the BikeneticX 2017 Sportif ‘Cross Cup Women’s 3/4 field with a $200 prize purse.

At VeloConcepts we are a shop that is born from racers and we feel it is vital to support grassroots racing and specifically the growing women’s fields. Recently we noticed BikeneticX commitment to Women’s racing by offering equal payout to both the Elite Men’s & Women’s races.  So we have decided to increase prize pool in the Women’s 3/4 field.  And we hope this will encourage more entry-level women’s racers to compete.

As racers ourselves we know the costs to both the wallet and family it takes to race and train and we hope that this extended prize offering will reward those sacrifices.
