Many of you know that VeloConcepts is fanatical about bike maintenance. Too often we see many bikes lacking general maintenance, we see dirty bikes, worn brake shoes, greasy, black drivetrains and more. Properly taking care of your bike is not hard and requires a few special tools, but most often we hear complaints about “not having enough time” or just “I don’t know how”. Well, VeloConcepts has you covered. We now offer three maintenance plan options that will keep your bike operating perfectly and more importantly regular maintenance will prevent larger more costly repairs.

Winter/Spring Service

Our “Winter/Spring Service” is the perfect service level for those of you that want to handle the daily & weekly maintenance on your own.  We still take care of the big stuff (like major lubrication and bottom bracket care), but the rider handles the “easy”‘ stuff like keeping your bike and drivetrain clean.

Includes

• “Get Ready for Winter” Tune Up (October/November)
  • Wash/Wipe down of frame
  • Clean, degrease & lube drivetrain
  • Inspect frame, derailleurs, cables and brakes
  • Adjust brakes and derailleurs
  • Inspect and true wheels
  • Install Winter Tires (tires not included)
  • Check proper torque of all bolts and tighten
• Full Service Spring Tune Up (March/April)
  • Clean and wash frame
  • Remove and clean brake calipers, derailleurs and cranks
  • Clean and grease bottom bracket
  • Replace inner & outer cables
  • Clean, degrease & lube drivetrain
  • Install fresh handlebar tape
  • Install Summer Tires

Scheduled Service

Our “Scheduled Service” is the ideal package for those of you wanting a little more than the twice yearly service and is probably the minimum level of maintenance your bike. Dirt and grime in your chain, cassette, and chainrings are a primary cause of premature wear and by keeping it clean you will maximize it’s life.  We also maintain the rest of the bike by keeping it clean and in adjustment.  . Lastly, we go over the bike with a fine tooth comb, making sure that everything is tight, there is no excessive wear and working as it should

Includes (everything from the Winter/Spring Service) and:

• Summer Maintenance Plan (May, July, September)
  • Wash/Wipe down frame
  • Clean, degrease & lube drivetrain
  • Inspect frame, derailleurs, cables and brakes
  • Adjust brakes and derailleurs
  • Inspect and true wheels

Unlimited “Premium” Service

The Unlimited Service Package is for those wanting every little detail taken care of.  VeloConcepts allows unlimited servicing of your bike. Customers of our Unlimited Package can drop their bikes off weekly, and VeloConcepts will keep up on all the weekly maintenance items.  This package includes:

• Weekly Service
  • Full bike wipe down
  • Wipe off excess chain lube and re-lube as necessary
  • Polish frame
  • Inspect frame, derailleurs, cables and brakes
  • Adjust brakes and derailleurs
  • Inspect and true wheels
• Monthly Service
  • Wash or wipe down bike as needed
  • Clean, degrease and lube drivetrain
  • Inspect and wash wheels & tires
  • Apply lube to derailleur pulleys, derailleur & brake pivot points
