Coffee + Bikes Ride – Saturday, August 6th

Join Culpeper Cycling from VeloConcepts for a road ride this Saturday, August 6th.  Since we are now in the summer doldrums, this ride will be starting at 8:30 am to “beat the heat”.  These rides vary in length, but we generally we try to ride 2 hours or more.

About Our Ride

Our pace is conversational and we will try to wait for everyone. The group averages around 16-18 mph, so please understand your abilities.  Additionally we can provide cue sheets and GPS downloads so you don’t get lost.

The ride leaves  the VeloConcepts parking lot at 8:30 am on a rolling loop.  But be sure to show up early, as the VeloConcepts crew provides breakfast pastries, espresso & cappuccino’s! And don’t forget about our monthly First Sunday Ride, happening this weekend as well.

Sunday’s First Ride & Clinic – Sunday, August 7th

Join the local Culpeper Cycling crew on  Sunday, August 7th for a social road ride from VeloConcepts.   This week’s ride features a varied route around Culpeper.

The ride leaves  the VeloConcepts parking lot at 11 am on a rolling loop.  But be sure to show up early because before the ride starts, the VeloConcepts crew will be providing breakfast pastries, espresso & cappuccino’s.

Post Ride Bike Maintenance Clinic

After the ride everyone is invited to stick around for some pizza and beer while we host a bike cleaning and maintenance clinic.  The VeloConcepts staff will demonstrate the proper way to clean and maintain your bike, the tools and products we use.

Make sure  your bike is dirty, because we will be picking the dirtiest bike to demonstrate the process.
