On Thursday, May 2nd, VeloConcepts’ owner Joe Coppola will present an essential Bike Fit & Cycling Analysis workshop. This workshop is designed to provide all level of cyclists with the information and knowledge needed to understand the fitting process, recognize best practices & prevent common mistakes.
Joe has been a certified fitter since 1988 starting with the Fit Kit system. Over the years Joe has attended and certified in numerous fitting protocols and methodologies. This background provides Joe a unique rider-focused perspective on bike fitting and leverages a holistic approach built on his 30+ years of experience as a fitter & cyclist.
During the fitting & analysis workshop Joe will address many areas of bike fitting, including on-bike analysis, proper position and how to avoid common cycling pains. He will also dedicate time to discuss proper position & fitting for triathletes. And also include:
- Bike sizing vs fitting
- How to check cleat, saddle and handlebar positions are properly set up
- How to adjust your bike to eliminate cycling discomfort
- Common bike fitting mis-conceptions
- The “ideal” triathlon fit
The clinic will begin at 7:30 pm. Registration is necessary for this workshop. Appetizers and adult beverages will be provided.
